It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Duerd Sweetin of Blanco, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Sweetin and Mamie Sweetin (McCabe); and his siblings, Gerald Sweetin, Millard Sweetin and Syble Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Deen Patton; his children, Sonia McCants (Bob) of Belton, Texas, Dirk Sweetin (Christina) of Blanco and Samuel D. Sweetin (Sue) of Ti Valley; his grandchildren, Hillary Lewis (Ronald), Lyndi Church (Curtis), Jared Sweetin (Holly), James Sweetin, Stormy Cole (Katelynn), Wacie Nowlin, Wendy Singleton, Debralee Blanco, Leah Blanco and Austin Eberle; his great grandchildren, Finley Church, Sadie Sweetin, Josie Sweetin, Roman Lewis, Rayden Sweetin, Cason Church, Tyler McCoy (Hanna), Luke McCoy (Allyah), Cameron McCoy, Kennedy Sweetin, Emmry Cole, Lincoln Cole and Maverick Cole; his great great grandchildren, William McCoy, Lincoln McCoy, Noah McCoy, Kennedy McCoy, Lacie McCoy and Emiline McCoy; his sister Fern Downey of Perkins; and his close friends, Mary Sweetin and Tena Sweetin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
