She was predeceased by: her parents, James Randolph Middlebrooks and Lavada Crownover Middlebrooks; her husband Herbert Washington Theodore Stelle; her grandsons, David and Anthony Stelle; and her close friend James Holman.

She is survived by: her children, Herbert "Herb" Stelle and Laura Woodall (Jack); her brother Cecil Middlebrooks; her grandchildren, JoAnn Crafton (John), Joshua Woodall (Merain) and Amber Lee (John); her great grandchildren, Malachi, Mariah, Nakeya, Ryland, Trinity, Rosalea, James, Jonah, Hazel Grace, Josh Jr., Amanda, Aubree and Larry; and her great great grandchild Maverick.
