He was predeceased by: his parents, Benton Hunter and Marguerite Hunter; and his grandparents, Knox, Bessie Monroe, Walter and Zina Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hunter; his children, Colin Hunter of Bokchito, Brandon Hunter of Denison, Texas and Kelsey Dodson of Pottsboro, Texas; and his granddaughter Willow Hunter.
