He was predeceased by : his parents, Therrel Rich and Nova Carmack (Baber); his son Michael James Rich; and his brother-in-law Bill Wayne Armor. He is survived by : his wife Margaret Rich of Bokchito; his sons, Bryne Rich (Kara) of Bokchito and Barry Rich (Tina) of McKinney, Texas.; his grandchildren, Brittany McGuinness, Kaylee Hartline, Mikaela Francis, Cody Rich, Levi Rich, Kaycee Rich, Hannah Rich and Madison Rich; his great grandchildren, Winter Rose McGuinness, Sky Hartline, Snow Monroe, Wolf Hartline and Avery Francis; and his sister Edwina Armor of Durant, Oklahoma..

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home (121 N 5th Ave, Durant, OK 74701). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bokchito Church of Christ (102 N Albright St, Bokchito, OK 74726). A burial was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Bokchito Cemetery.
