He was predeceased by: his parents, Roxie Hestily (Brigman) and Buck Ollo Hestily; and his sons, Kirk Hestily and Erik Hestily. He is survived by: his wife Paula Hestily; his children, Mark Hestily (Ann) of Grand Prairie, Ryan Hestily (Tara) of Calera, Oklahoma, Stacy Jacobi (David) of Knoxville, Jackie Link (Danny) of Pflugerville and Lolly Cole (Matt) of Ada, Oklahoma; and his stepchildren, Brenton Knight (Melanie) of Durant, Oklahoma and Lisa Peterson (Greg) of Bokchito, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren as well as other extended family.
