With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Bumpass of Boswell, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Carl leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Carl may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Bumpass and Mary Ann Bumpass; and his wife Judith Diane. He is survived by: his daughter Dawn Kori Nearing (David); his granddaughters, Hali Anne and Amber Lynn Nearing; his son Kurt Christian Bumpass (Thi Phuong Bumpass); and his siblings, Marieta Chapman and Hubert "Earl" Bumpass.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home (216 E Jackson St, Hugo, OK 74743). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
