He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Elliott and Cora L. Elliott (Harms); his son-in-law Kirk Brown; and his brother-in-law Richard R. Morse. He is survived by: his children, Becky Harmon of Lebanon, MO, Robin Elliott, Jason Elliott (Kristi) of Rogersville, MO, Ronda Hatton (Kevin) of Johnstown, CO, Misty Elliott-Brown of Ft Collins, CO, Kimberly King (Elijah) of Johnstown, CO, Shawn Elliott (J'Rie) of Stanton, KY, Sara Edmundson (Wendell) of Henryetta and Joseph Elliott (Brittany) of Henryetta; his sister Glynna Elliott Morse; and his nieces, Julia Morse and Kathleen Morse Bariteau (Bill). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
His family spent the summer of 1957 in Yellowstone National Park, after his mother won a National Science Foundation grant to attend classes, which sparked a life-long love for the outdoors.
