Norma Lee Peres Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Lee Peres of Braman, Oklahoma, born in Blackwell, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Edwin and Edith Mary Cheney (Tannahill); her husband Oren Wayne Peres; her siblings, Alvin, Kenneth Cheney, Alta Ricketts, Ramona DeWitt, Evelyn Pappan, Eleanor Eggers, Loetta Dale and Helen Stiles; her children, Mary Emma Garland, Carl Loren Peres and Frank Alfred Peres; her grandson Quincy Levi Hicks; her great grandchild Regan Stahl-Hicks; and her children, Leslie V. Christenson (Susan) of Blackwell, Rita Lee (Jack Bruner) of Fort Worth and Evelyn Gail Hicks of Blackwell.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Vicky, Charles, Michele, Carla, Kindra, Kara, Geeoff, Darrick, Chad, John, Jeremy, Mandy, Sharyn, Travis, Lonnie and Tommy. She is also survived by twenty-five great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Roberts and Son Funeral Home, Inc. (120 W Padon Ave, Blackwell, OK 74631). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel (120 W Padon Ave, Blackwell, OK 74631). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Blackwell Cemetery (3500 S Main St, Blackwell, OK 74631).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Braman Community Church to honor Norma's enduring faith and service.
