He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Martin; and his significant other Vicky Jo Reed (Harper). He is survived by: his son Herbert Donald Reed (Etta Voncile Pearman); his daughter-in-law Vicki Steen; his grandchildren, Angela Rene' and Michael Shane; his children, Ted Lee and Lucianna LeAnn; his pets, Minnie and Lacey; his children, Angela and Shane; and his stepsons, Luke, John and Joe. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memories, stories, and a toast in Richard's honor — he always did like a good story.
