He was predeceased by: his parents, George Abbott and Sylvia Abbott; his daughter Jamie McGuire; his parents-in-law, Wilber and Jearldine Peeper; his siblings, Sam, Jeremiah, Lonnie Abbott and Mary Chambers; his sisters-in-law, Janie and Wanda Peeper; and his grandson Charles Wyatt Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his daughter Christie Walker (Charles); his grandchildren, Mikey Griffith (Haley), Ian McGuire (Kelsi), Tanner McGuire and Reata Walker; his great grandchildren, Maelyn McGuire, Clementine Griffith and Mavrick James Lee McGuire; and his siblings, John (Feona), David, Donnie (Jean), Michael (Celese), Joe, Jane Johnson, Amanda Nedlose and Sharon Mann (Larry). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
