He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvan Gettel and Blanche Gettel; his son Michael Gettel; and his wife Vivian Isabel. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Stephanie Jennifer, David Jesse Christie, Joshua Hannah Trevor and Gabriel Noah Jasmine; his siblings, Eileen (Eddie Gunion) and Melvin (Rachel Gettel); his close friends, Bill Cole and Paul; his son Daniel; his stepdaughter Deborah; his children, Lois (Paul) and Tim; his adoptive son Phillip; and also Linda. He is also survived by NUMEROUS NIECES, NEPHEWS & OTHER RELATIVES.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mannford Senior Citizen Center (169 Greenwood Ave, Mannford, OK 74044).
