She was predeceased by : her parents, Bill Bethel and Shirley Bethel. She is survived by : her husband Victor Dowdy; her children, Tisha Dowdy and Chad Dowdy; her grandchildren, Blaylen Crawford and Brenlynn Dowdy; her great grandchildren, Aiyden Crawford and Adonis Crawford; her brothers, Mike Bethel and Tim Bethel; and her nieces and nephews, Josh, Megan Bethel, Mandi, Scott Horn, Matt Bethel, Chelsea Bethel, Ashley and Chance Johnson.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hutchins-Maples Matherly Funeral Home (119 N Chestnut St, Bristow, OK 74010). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Church of God (226 E 6th Ave, Bristow, OK 74010).
