It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Monroe Gibson III of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gibson II and Hedwig Okoniewski. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Gibson (Banish); his children, Alexandria Campbell (John), Valeria Thomas and Arthur Monroe Gibson IV (Josie Wright); his grandchildren, Jonathon Campbell (Elisabeth), Derrick Thomas (Ashley), Cynthia Thomas (Ethan Frasier), Arthur Gibson V, Brendan Gibson and Caitlyn Gibson; his great grandchildren, Isaiah Campbell, Landon Campbell and Ruth Thomas; and his sisters, Jarlath Warren, Anita Sohaski and Gloria Sullivan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM.
