He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard U. Brooks and Katie Jane Brooks (Price). He is survived by : his wife Betty Fay Brooks; his children, Darrell Brooks (Susie) and Sonya Wolfe (Clifton); his grandchildren, Chad Brooks, Stephanie Reid (Michael), Holly Riddle (Andy), Derek Wolfe (Rachel) and Dustin Wolfe (Krista Baze); and his great grandchildren, Anderson Riddle, Rhett Brooks, Winnie Riddle and Hadley Wolfe.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (210 S Broadway, Coweta, OK 74429). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lone Star Baptist Church (10610 S 353rd E Ave, Coweta, OK 74429).
