He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thomson and Janet Thomson; and his brother James Thomson. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his son Kyle Thomson; his daughter-in-law Deidre; his granddaughter Abigail; his daughter Kelli Collins (Kip); his grandchildren, Konnor and Kaleb; his brother William Thomson; his brother-in-law Jerry; his sister Jonette Emmons (Rick); and his nieces and nephews, Jessie Emmons, Kris Emmons, Matthew Meddles, Jenny Hibner and Martin Meddles.
