It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emogene (Bowman) Sorrels (Broken Arrow, Oklahoma), born in Rickman, Tennessee, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 96. She was proceeded in death by her husband Herbert J Sorrels, infant son Ronald, parents Josiah and Vella Bowman, sisters Joan Bateman and twin Jeweldean Hutchison. One brother Hollis Bowman and wife Ann. She is survived by daughters Patricia Long of Broken Arrow. OK and Therese Gurley (Richard) of Cookeville, TN. Four grandchildren Jennifer Wright (Tx), Melissa Crannigan (Tn) , Brandon Daniel (Tn) and Lindsey Bates (Ok), 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Algood Cemetery (E. Wall Street 38506). With Bryan Vaughn officiating.
