Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Hattie Benton of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, born in Decatur, Arkansas, who passed away at the age of 87, on November 6, 2025. She was predeceased by: her mother Edna Broyhill Cunningham (Vanzant); her husband David Roy Benton; her parent Newt Cunningham; her grandson David Jacob "D. J." Benton; her great grandchild Triniti Rain Sisco; and her siblings, Mary Cunningham (Bob), Robert Broyhill, Pearl Hammons (Red), Helen Broyhill and Zoe Hudson (Harold "Rocky").
She is survived by: her sons, Denus Benton (Shellie) of Catoosa and Dicus Benton (Shelly) of Catoosa. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel (6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012). A committal service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens (6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012).
