He was predeceased by: his significant other Judy; his parents, Carl Whittle (Mary Whittle) and Mary Whittle; and his siblings, Lila Goodin, Don Whittle, Anita Sturgill and Sandra Whittle.

He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Whittle (Molly), Joe Whittle (Susan) and Jackie Hughes (Barry); his sister Judy Whittle; and his grandchildren, Braden Knox (Alix), Sawyer Knox and Parker Whittle. He is also survived by 3 children, and 3 beloved grandsons.
