He is survived by: his wife Pam Thompson; his mother Octavia June Thompson; his aunt Elaine Sue Howerton; his cousins, John Curtis Armstrong, Jamie Butler and Tammy Nobles; his children, Ricky Carroll (Chanda) and Traci Forrester; and his grandchildren, Halie, Kylee, Makinley Carroll, Taylor and Kyla "Squish" Forrester.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Floral Haven Cemetery.
