He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayman Paul Douglas and Jewell Marie Monfore (Harper); his brother Kenneth W. Douglas (Judy); his wife Nancy Sue Tyler Douglas (Patterson); and his stepson Scott Tyler.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Lynn Douglas Herridge (Carl), Jerry Allen Douglas, Jr. (Donna) and Mitzi Douglas Henderson; and his stepdaughter Sherri Sanders (Tom Williams). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
