It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Philip Martin of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 24, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John Philip has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Martin and Elizabeth Schlegal; his wife Betty Hopkins Martin; and his brother Jim Martin. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Carlene Martin of Overland Park, Kansas; and his children, Phil Martin (Donna), Carol Thomas (Ed), Donna Coffey (Jason) and Joanie Coleman (Aaron). He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Eden Mennonite Church (21905 E 600 Rd, Inola, OK 74036).
