He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamby Petway Adams and Florence Esther Crapo; his son Donnie Ray Adams; his grandson Eric Van Adams; and his siblings, Reba Parks, James Adams, Charlotte Adamson and Donald Wayne Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Adams; his sons, Phillip (Sheila) of Broken Arrow and Steve (Cara) of Broken Arrow; and his grandchildren, Corey Adams, Ashley Haefner, Heather Bullis and Dylan Adams. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
