“Tooter and family lived cattywampus behind us for a few years. He was a very good friend and was good to our boys, Tommy and Jimmy. Everywhere we went, Tooter showed up one day with flags to mark our property when we were going to dig. He was one of our favorite neighbors. I was about to go visit them in a day or two.
