Debbie Moseley wrote a sympathy message

“I met Phyllis at NEO A&M College in Miami. We immediately became friends. I married her brother, Gary, even though the first time we had a meal at her parents house was different. We held hands, said a prayer, and instead of letting go of my hand she jammed my fingers into my mashed potatoes. She had a strong love of music and nobody I know had more love for furry critters. She served proudly in law enforcement. Always a true friend. She was a big part of my life and I will always love her.”
