She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Elzie Stephens and Bessie Elizabeth Allen; her husband Wallace Eugene Mattox; her son Darrel Leon Holt; and her siblings, Edna Fox (Grindle), Elzie Stephens, Evelyn Bernard, Norma Loftis and Freda Stephens.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marlene Flaherty of Bixby and Rita St (Reece); her siblings, Ellis Stephens of Bartlesville and Imogene Schmidt of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Brandon Reece (Amanda) of Grove Oklahoma, Curtis Holt (Kelly) of Rogers, Shawnda Benge (Jerry) of Jay, Josh Holt of Bedford, Brian Reece (Brittany) of Grove and Kevin Reece (Sheena) of Vinita, Oklahoma. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Lawson's Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Chapel (311 W Gray St, Jay, OK 74346).
