He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leroy Dawson and Wynona Beeler; his siblings, Kathy, JoAnn, Bonnie, Sherrie, Ronnie, Lonnie, Sharon, Roger and Russell; his wife Janis Dawson; and his sons, Leon and Michael Dawson. He was also cherished by his siblings, as well as many nieces, nephews, two daughters-in-law, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Victory Christian Church of Tulsa in support of its ministries in Richard's name.
