He was predeceased by : his great-grandparents, Jesse, Mattie Markham of Bethel, Cecil, Betty Ayres of Albuquerque, NM, Clifford and Laverne Shelton of Broken Bow; and his great-great-grandparents, Joe, Ruth Hough of Broken Bow and Michael Shelton.

He is survived by : his wife Alexis Shelton; his parent Melissa Shelton (Miles Emerson) of Broken Bow; his parents-in-law, Brandon McDonald of Valliant and Angela Lamb of Vian, OK; his brother Coby Shelton (Hannah) of Yukon, OK; his sister-in-law Anna McDonald of Vian, OK; his grandparents, Rick, Kathy Ayres of Broken Bow and Sharon Cockrell of Holly Creek; his aunts and uncles, Troy, Jenny Ayres of Renton, WA, Travis Ayres of Broken Bow, Rusty Cockrell, Rae Lyn Pennington, Mary, Olen Hill of Broken Bow and Lee Harkey of Broken Bow; and his nephew Jacob Shelton of Yukon, OK.

Chase was a member of Charity Baptist Church.
