He was predeceased by: his wife Velma Johnson; his sister Carolyn Sue Headrick; his grandsons, William Gordon Johnson III and Michael Martinez Yanez; and his daughter-in-law Geneva Kay Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, William Gordon Johnson II of Broken Bow, Jerry Jr. (Virginia Johnson), Karen Johnson of Broken Bow, Yvonne (Kevin Willis) and Melody (Scott Fisher). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
