He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pond and Mary Laverne White Pond; his daughter Christina "Tina" Willis; his siblings, J. W. Pond, Earl Pond Jamie Pond, Walter Pond, Mary Hoover, Sissie Lovewell and Tincy Lovewell; his sisters-in-law, Rozella Wesley and Lola Wesley; and his nephews, Jade Wesley and Albert "Pee Wee" Lovewell Jr..

He is survived by: his sons, Mark "Bubba" Wesley of Broken Bow and William "J. P." Pond of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; his siblings, Robert Pond of Tom, Oklahoma and Martha; his brother-in-law Jerry Braddock of Cookville, Texas; his grandchildren, Alyssa Willis of Antlers, Ashton Willis of Durant, Akeiley Willis of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Ashur Willis of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; his great grandchild Lillian Willis of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; his sisters-in-law, Wilma Wesley of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Joy Resendiz of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; and his siblings' children, Megan Noah, Kim Tims, Samantha Tims, Tina Thompson, Alicia Schee, Donnie Lovewell and Bobby Hoover. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel (500 N Park Dr, Broken Bow, OK 74728).
