Nona Thomas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nona Thomas of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2025 at the age of 87. Though Nona has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Houston (Cora Elviney Brogdan Johnson) and Nona; her husband W. L. Thomas, Jr.; her daughter Debra Westbrook; and her siblings, Coy Johnson and Hazel Tate.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law Jeffery McGee of Sachse, Texas; her brother Theron Johnson of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Jena Nelson, Ryan Westbrook, Erin Cook and Ty McGee.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Watson Memorial Cemetery.
