It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Washington (Broken Bow, Oklahoma), who passed away on May 5, 2026, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Fulsom and Thelma Fulsom; and her husband Floyd Washington. She is survived by: her children, Floyd Oliver Washington, Jr. of Wright City, Oklahoma and Ashley ShaShon Washington (Don) of Crossroads, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jaydon, Landon and Mya. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bunch - Singleton Funeral Home Chapel (205 N Broadway St, Broken Bow, OK 74728). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Wright City School. A burial was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Slater Memorial Cemetery.
