He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Orval Rader and Theora Marie Rader (Ramsey); and his siblings, Clara Reimann, Charlene Downs, Mae Fredrick (Elvit), Robert "Bob" Rader, Betty Vaughn (Rader) and Minnie Rader.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his children, Dennis Rader (Amy) and Jenifer Sorley (Darren); his grandchildren, Meagan Villanueva (Matthew), Braden Rader (Destiny), Garrett Turner (Ashlen), Kaylin Rader and Ayden Sorley; and his great grandchildren, Kynlee Villanueva, Everett Rader, Kameron Villanueva and Kyler Villanueva. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
