He was predeceased by : his parents, Hurley Lemons and Iva June Lemons; his brother Jerry; his brother-in-law Terrel Prophet; his niece Tammy Lemons Walker; and his great-niece Bailey Walker.
He is survived by : his son Jerry; his wife Claudia Prophet; his brothers, Rig and Jug; his nephews, Mitchell and Monty; his close friend Trucking; his son Mitchell Lemons (Anita Shelton); and also, Glen Prophet and Sterling (Sterling). He is also survived by three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
