He was predeceased by : his wife Dixie; his parents, Joe Brown and Lucille Brown; and his siblings, Thelma, Clarine and Dwight.

He is survived by : his family Duane; his children, Jim (Jo) of Piedmont and Carrie Gebhardt (Randy) of Leedey, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Clint Gebhardt (Lauren) of Yukon, Oklahoma, Ross Gebhardt (Adrienne) of Sunset, Texas, Larisa Waters (Damon) of Yukon and Tyler Brown (Amanda) of Edmond, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, other family members, neighbors, and friends.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Buffalo, Oklahoma.
