With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Earlene Nielsen (Buffalo, Oklahoma), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Earlene left this world on December 7, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Everett and Alma Vernon Jones (Wilson); her husband E. G. Smith; her son Ronald Alan Smith; her brothers, Lennes and Carroll Jones; her daughter-in-law Kim Clark-Smith; her siblings' children, Mark Jones, Terry Smith and Kathy Jones-Summars; and her siblings-in-law, Wahlelle McFerrin, Alice Jones, Donna Smith, Almo Jones, Clevel and J. L. Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Danny Lynn (Linda Smith) and Gina Anne (Carr Frank) of Buffalo; her grandchildren, Jerry Smith of Las Vegas, NV, Ryan, Katie Hilliard of Midland, MI, Shandi, Hatsuo Floyd of Land, Hannah, Darrel Bynum of Buffalo and Niki Smith of Woodward, OK; her great grandchildren, Brodi Smith, Brendan, Aedin Floyd of Land, Adia, Paxton and Weston Hilliard of Midland, MI; and her sister-in-law Darlene Jones of Buffalo. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Wilkinson Funeral Service (360 SW 1st St, Buffalo, OK 73834). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (223 SE 2nd St, Buffalo, OK 73834). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the May Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the May Cemetery or Buffalo United Methodist Church.
