It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Jean Goodenough of Burbank, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Patricia Jean farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Patricia Jean is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Reed and Mamie Reed; and her sisters, Lucinda Reed of Alabama and Belinda Ramirez of Houston. She is survived by: her husband Neal Goodenough; her son Neal Jr.; her grandchildren, Tanner (Aeriel Goodenough), Trevor Goodenough and Hayley Goodenough; and her great grandchildren, Maverick and Merrick Goodenough. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Trout Funeral Home & Crematory (505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel (505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601).
