She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Berneal (Odom) and Alvie Joe Reed; the father of her children Wally; and her husband Gary Pitts. She is survived by: her children, Amanda Thompson (Carla) of Spring, TX and Jeff Rios (January) of Craig, CO; her grandchildren, Caleb Thompson, Nickoli Rios, Beverly Zulian, Terrapin Zulain and Ford Ray; her great grandchildren, Edwin, Viviana and Octavia; and her sisters, Cindy Copeland of Venus, TX and Karen Bardwell of Yukon, OK. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Whinery Funeral Service & Cremation Center Chapel (403 W Country Club Blvd, Elk City, OK 73644).
