It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Guinn in Byars, Oklahoma, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshel Guinn and Loretta Guinn; his wife Sue; his former wife Kara Brown; his grandparents, Jim, Elsie Guinn, Albert and Grace Keuhner; and his uncles, Marvin, Floyd, Garvin and Gene Guinn.
He is survived by: his children, Katelyn Joanna (Taylor) of Lake Travis, Jay Guinn (Michelle) of Conroe and Toby Guinn (Jonathan) of Cleveland, Ohio; his grandchildren, Mason Guinn of Austin and Morgan Guinn of Lovejoy; the mothers of children, Sue Petrie of Knoxville and Kara Solis of Rowlett; and his pet Gus.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that honorariums and memorials be held until the celebration of life, when more information will be shared about honoring Gary's woodworking legacy.
