He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Evans and Virginia Yvonne Evans (Hall); his son Monroe Scott Evans; and his sister Sheila Norman. He is survived by: his son Steve Evans (Cheryl) of Caney, OK; his daughter-in-law Edelyn Evans of Marysville, WA; his grandchildren, Thomas Evans (Morgan) of Coleman, OK and Hunter Evans of Voca, OK; his sisters-in-law, Geraldine Day of Plano, TX and Wanda Scatterfield of Voca, OK; his great grandchildren, Addison Evans and Daxton Evans; and his niece Stacy Fite. He is also survived by cousins, relatives, and many loved and dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service, Inc.. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at the Tushka Cemetery.
