She was predeceased by : her parents, John E Mixon and Elta Mixon (Gillham); her husband Thomas Awtrey; and her siblings, Jim Mixon, Joe Mixon, Lorene Connelly, Marjorie Anderson, Lindsay Mixon and Wendell Mixon.

She is survived by : her daughters, Cindy Sherrard (Tom) of Lane, OK, Teresa Nelson (Brian) of Leadville, CO and Jill Simpson (Ron) of Paris, TX; her brother Bill Mixon (Ruby) of Atoka, OK; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Mixon, Charlotte Mixon, Phyllis Mixon and Shirley MIxon. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
