It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Earl Kaniatobe of Calera, Oklahoma, born in Idabel, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 14, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Kaniatobe and Wilcey Kaniatobe (Shaw). He is survived by : his children, Debra Gutierrez (Carlos) of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Rick Kaniatobe (Thelma) of Glover, Oklahoma; sons Randy Kaniatobe (Alicia), James Kaniatobe, Phillip Kaniatobe (Jennifer) and his daughter Lorenci Kaniatobe; grandchildren Rayita, Laetitia, Celina, James, Matthew, James Jr., Cameron, Zachary, Clifford, Veronica, Victoria, and Dominique, and great grandchild Savina, all from New Mexico; his sisters, Ann Kaniatobe of Durant, Oklahoma and Clara Kaniatobe of Durant, Oklahoma; his great grandchild Machaya; and his niece Diana Hudson of Calera. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and numerous friends and relatives.
