He is survived by: his wife LeeAnn Hewitt; his children, Jason Hewitt (Laura) of Bonham, Jeff Hewitt (Melissa) of Whitewright, Michael McConnell (Lisa) of Kingston, Oklahoma and Jana Thompson of Stringtown, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Justin, Jacy, Kaileigh, Kristopher, Jeannie, Caleb, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Aaron, Garrett, Brianna and Kyle; his sister Brenda Ramsey (Mark) of Honey Grove; his nephew Seth Ramsey; and his niece Danielle Silva. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home (2022 N Center St, Bonham, TX 75418). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
