He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer Hughes and Toy Hughes (Stephens); and his son Tony Hughes. He is survived by : his wife Rose Hughes of Calera; his children, Richard Hughes of Wellston and Venita Nutter of Ardmore, Oklahoma.; and his grandchildren, Brittni Hughes, Jacob Hughes and Natasha Hughes.
