With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mickey Joyce Askew of Calera, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 29, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Lee Vickery and Vera Vickery (Opry); and her husband Delbert Bryce Askew. She is survived by : her children, Kevin Askew of Calera, OK, Shannon Askew of Calera, OK and Brent Askew of Calera, OK; and her siblings, Martha Pointer of Dallas, TX, Vera of Comanche, TX, Sue (George) and Ray Vickery. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, other extended family and friends.
