He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin "Jinks" Thompson and Kathryn Thompson (Leighton); his sisters, Susan Stansberry and Ann Thompson; and his father-in-law Lester Harvey.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Thompson; his children, Amanda Trumbo of Norman and Chris Thompson (Dallas) of Calumet; his grandchildren, Madalyne, Alyssa and Michael; his nieces, Jennifer Stansberry of Yukon and Amy Brown (Kevin) of Yukon; his great-nieces, Lilly, Annie and Sophie; his mother-in-law Marie Harvey of Oney, Oklahoma; and his brother-in-law Ron Harvey (Lynn) of Binger, Oklahoma.
