He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Bench and Eula Bench (Doyle); his son Dustin Bench; and his siblings, Jerry Lee Bench, Bennie Eli Bench and Ima Jean Sweazea.
He is survived by: his significant other Jan Dawson; his daughter Jamie Gonzalez (Harold) of Yukon; his grandchildren, Emery and Maximus; and his brothers, Olen Emmitt Bench of Kirbyville and Johnnie Joe Bench (Carolyn) of Calvin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
