Byron Neal Yates Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Byron Neal Yates of Caney, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2026 at the age of 74. In the vast expanse of eternity, Byron shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Byron farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Yates and Walter Yates (Kid); his significant other Chris Hardy; and his siblings, Sybil Adams (Satch), Bobby Yates (Big Mouth), Noble Blankenship (Big Lucy) and Juana Grubbs (Sis).

He is survived by: his sister Pamela Nutter (Pammy Sue) of Caney, OK. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
