With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dessie Henry of Caney, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Frances Phillips (Sluder) and Charles Phillips; her husband William Franklin Henry; her children, Richard Dale Henry, Martha Louella Henbest and Silas Gilbert Henry; and her siblings, Chock Collums, Raymond Collums, Hazel Allen, Martha Smith, Imogene Heflin, Bonnie Phillips, Beatrice Ladd and Nettie Mae Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Lynn Henry of Caney, OK, Peggy Sue Weger (Allan) of Caney, OK, Rita Gale Woolf (Eugene) of Caney, OK and Charlotte Boley of Caney, OK; her grandchildren, Larry William Henbest, Cody Woolf, Billy Henry, Michael Tyler Madding, Rusty Shane Henry, Kevin Bryan Henry, Brandon Henry, Tracy Henry, Jessica Henry, Dessie Rose Henbest, Sammy Joe Stoner, Staci Lynn Woolf, Mykayla Cheyenne Grist, Casey Henry and CJ Bradford; and her siblings, Jerry Phillips of Mead, OK and Betty Sue Gilbert of Atoka, OK. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service (718 W 13th St, Atoka, OK 74525). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Chapel (718 W 13th St, Atoka, OK 74525).
