He was predeceased by : his parents, Phyllis Marie Golden (VanConett) and Donald Golden; his sister Julie Whitt (Jack); his grandparents, Mancille Lavern, Lucill VanConett (Cullen), Granvill G. and Ella Joy Golden; and his pets, Bitsy and Sadie.

He is survived by : his wife Beth Ann Golden (Rector); his children, Heather Middleton (Scot) of Bentley, OK, Lindsay Sutton (Steven) of Dodd City, TX, Tamra Eagleberger (Dustin) of Harmony, OK, Stevi Tarbet (Ashton) of Bentley, OK and Taw Griggs (Heather); his pet Gus; his grandchildren, Andi, Ayden Middleton, Dawson Brawdy, Harlee Duncan, Finley Sutton, Kaylee Sutton, Savage, Tinley Tarbet, Ridge, Alayna and Spencer Griggs; and his siblings, Kenneth Roy Golden of Caney, OK and Linda Greer (Roger) of Sawyer, OK. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Chapel-Atoka (718 W 13th St, Atoka, OK 74525).
