We bid farewell to Robert Herod of Canton, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 20, 2025 at the age of 90. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edward Herod and Charity Carol Herod (Stoner); his wife Bonnie; his sons, Robert Allen "Bob" Herod, Peter Aaron Herod and Adam Carroll Herod; his grandson San Pablo Herod; his siblings, Richard Melvin "Newt" Herod and Jane Ann Tisserat (Herod); and his siblings-in-law, Kara Babcock, Ellen "Ellie" Harris, Jack Harris, William Westbrook and James Heasler.
He is survived by: his son Richard Melvin "Rick" Herod; his daughter-in-law Shelly Sawyer (Herod); his grandchildren, Richard Andrew "Andy" Herod, Carrie Noel Lingerfelt (Lance), Peter Dylan Herod, Brittany Fern Parker (Alan), D'Andra Parsons (Chayne) and Dustin Brodrick (Dusti Lea); his great grandchildren, Judah Herod, Elijah, Willa, Silas Lingerfelt, Westynn, Gryffan, Eryn Parker, Ava, Alivia, Jack, Levi Parsons, Hinsley and Whitley Brodrick; his sisters, Susan Westbrook and Charity Heasler; and his brothers-in-law, Buddy Long (Kim) and Joe Long (Rachel). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
